Hangin’ Around

First off, I just want to say that I think that this is one of the best pictures I have ever taken. The brightness of the fountain behind the silhouetted backpack and hammocks creates such an awesome contrast. I took this with my Nikon D3200 with a ISO of 200 and an f-stop of 5.6. It was a really sunny day, but I wanted to get the silhouette effect in my picture, so I stepped into the shade of a tree to take the photo.

I took this photo outside of Thomas Cooper Library during our scavenger hunt assignment. I see people in their hammocks in this tree every time I am on campus, and have always meant to capture a picture of it because, to me, it’s such a relaxing and calming sight. I definitely consider this an art piece and will put it in my portfolio.
