The History of Me

My name is Sam Wolf, and I’m from Cleveland, Ohio. I am a Visual Communications major here, and am in my last semester. After graduation, I hope to move to Chicago to work as a Digital Media Specialist at a young, growing company.

Photography has been a large part of my life since I was in middle school. At that time, I used my phone as my camera, but got addicted to it. When I got to high school, my mom bought me a Nikon D3200, which I still use today. Having a camera and wanting to learn more about taking and editing photos, I helped start the first photography class at my high school with the help of an art teacher who I am still close with today. In that class, I was first exposed to photoshop, which is what I use to edit to this day. I also have experience using Adobe Lightroom. Even though I have a professional grade camera, I still enjoy taking photos using my phone, and use VSCO to edit them. I also upload a lot of photos taken from my Nikon to VSCO, as I like to use my page as a home for my favorite photographs. The link to my VSCO is here.
